“Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God’s grace in its various forms.”  1 Peter 4:10

Be Involved

NBIC needs you!  There are several opportunities you can get involved here at New Beginnings International Church, whether you want to help out or use your gifts to serve—there’s a place for you!

Find out below where you are called to serve!

Music brings people closer to God and to one another.  The Music Team weekly prepares songs with biblical truth and leads the congregation for a meaningful Praise & Worship.   If you're musically or vocally talented, you are welcome to be part of this team!

Foods and drinks bring people together, this group makes sure that after-service snacks and drinks are well provided by volunteers through our timely sign up.  The group also organizes scheduled after-service potluck lunches where everyone comes together for casual fellowship over some international cuisine.

Mark 16:15  And he said unto them, “Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.”  Going to shopping malls, market and any other places to meet other expatriates and be able to share the love of Jesus to them.

Seeking to engage NBIC one-by-one and in groups in mission-related activities, introduces NBIC members to missionaries based in Nigeria, organizing prayer times for missions, and working toward mission trips to visit and strengthen cross-cultural mission works around in and outside Africa. Encouraging members toward life-long engagement in support of cross-cultural missions.

If you have the gift or even the interest in technology, this team may be  the right one for you.  NBIC believes that technology is a platform to support various church initiatives specially evangelism.  This team is also responsible in maintaining all technology aspects of NBIC such as its website, social media platforms and audio facilities.

Be the first to greet guests as soon as they arrive, answer any questions people might have and makes sure that everyone is warmly welcomed when they visit NBIC, especially the first-time visitors.  This may also include visiting people in their homes—especially newer members getting to know us.

Preparing our worship environment with special decorations at celebratory events during our church year—Christmas, Easter, Church Anniversary, etc.  Giving our church hall a special look for special occasions.

Striving to keep our church finances properly tracked and every penny accounted for, and working with the pastors and deacons on wise disbursement of our financial resources.

NBIC extends help!  Ensuring NBIC sees and responds to special needs for benevolent help that arise among our members.  Making determinations about the expenditure of designated benevolent funds and on rare occasions raising additional help among NBIC members as the need demands.

Working with the NBIC deacons to encourage the “care and feeding” of our pastoral staff and encouraging members from time to time to give words and other expressions of encouragement to the shepherds of this flock.
